Dangote Group is making plans to host Annual General Meetings (AGM) in stadiums according to Aliko Dangote, Chairman Dangote Group.
Aliko Dangote, Chairman Dangote Group, during his 60th birthday yesterday said that plans are being made to host their company’s Annual General Meetings (AGM) in stadiums rather than hotels in other to allow more shareholders to partake in the decisions of the company.
The grand occasion had the presence of Dangote’s daughters as well as:
• Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, the man who made the cover of Forbes Magazine for selling all he had to buy a bank (Access Bank Plc), Former CEO of the aforementioned bank and President of Nigeria Stock Exchange.
• Jim Ovia, founder of Zenith Bank, Quantum Properties and Viasafone.
• Femi Otedola, Chairman of Forte Oil Plc.
• Oscar Onyema, CEO of Nigeria Stock Exchange amongst other dignitaries.
Dangote Group has 4 companies listed in the Nigerian Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of about 2.91 trillion naira.
